Materials
White oak, beeswax finish
Two large curved slabs of oak, fitted together to form an architectural canopy. The interior surfaces are carved with a dense pattern of marks that recall both geological strata and handwriting.
All works are created in the Vrosens Atelier studio in Frederick, Maryland. Provenance documentation and a certificate of authenticity accompany every acquisition.
